BABY-I was prompted by the heart-wrenching issue of newborn abandonment and infanticide. A compassionate group of individuals came together to establish this charity, dedicated to addressing these pressing concerns. Through unwavering dedication and a compassionate approach, BABY-I strives to be a beacon of hope for those in crisis and a catalyst for change in society’s attitudes towards newborn abandonment and infanticide.

Our Expertise: Law Enforcement Tools and Compassion
BABY-I is the only organization in the UK equipped to deal with baby abandonment. While it is illegal to abandon a child with harmful intent, proper training is lacking for police authorities and other institutions. As a result, up to a hundred newborn babies are abandoned every year in the UK, many of which go unreported. Our organization bridges this gap, providing essential resources and expertise.
Solving Social Issues: Caring During Pregnancy
BABY-I also addresses social issues stemming from failures in prenatal care, which can lead to baby abandonment. We work closely with agencies, organizations, and service providers to make a significant contribution to society and save lives.
